  • POST /chat — your messages answered by the deployed service, this exact contract
  • GET /health — the button above, real response, every visit
  • Default model gpt-4o-mini — billed to your own OpenAI account, no markup
  • Key handling: per-request header, no copy held between requests, zero storage in this page

Scripted (sample mode)

  • The opening exchange is a script — labeled, honest, based on the stock FAQ defaults
  • No model calls happen in sample mode — nothing is billed
  • Buyers get their own FAQ + personality configured server-side; this demo runs the stock config
  • Phone/WhatsApp/text-channel routing is part of the buyer build, not this browser page

Live turns are real model calls to OpenAI with your key — you pay OpenAI directly, a fraction of a cent per typical message. We charge nothing for demo use. If a reply ever fails, the service says so plainly instead of inventing an answer — that is the same guardrail your deployed receptionist runs.
